She was predeceased by: her sister Norma Hughey; and her parents, Ernest Hughey and Helen Thompson. She is survived by: her close friend John; her daughter Megan Carrick (Mark); her grandchildren, Brody, Avery and Brynlee Carrick; and her siblings, Velma Tucker (Gord), Donna Stewart (Ken) and Harvey Hughey (Renee). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
