He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Robert Jones and Gloria Jean Jones; his wife Debbie Jones; his parents-in-law, Tom and Novita Barnes; his son Dustin Johnson (Patricia); his stepchildren, William Pataky (Katie), Robin Leahy and Andrea Plumley (Troy); his grandchildren, Ethan, Julia, Owen, Ava, Jessica and Layn; his great grandchild Hanna; his siblings, Terry (Christine) and Kirk (Patricia); his siblings-in-law, Michael, Alan Barnes, Tami Bowes (Eric) and Linda Peirce; and his grandparents, Jake and Marge McCall. He was also cherished by many friends, close-knit aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the The Knights of Columbus (317 Hunter St W, Peterborough, ON K9H2M1).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
