He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lane and Betty Lane; and his parent-in-law Kath Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Gordad, Alyson (Mick) and Heather (Michael); his grandchildren, Matthew, Clara and Ryder; his siblings, Pat (Rick), Brian and Ken (Shelley); his siblings-in-law, Brian (Lori), Ken, Joanne and Julie; his father-in-law Ted Lewis; and also, Luanne and Kurt.

In memory of Gord, donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association- Peterborough Region, Hamilton Brain Injury Association, or the Hamilton Wentworth Stroke Recovery Association.
