It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Clare Casey (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Alldred (Vern), Alvin Casey (Muriel), Ona Thorton and Clifford Howard; and his parents, Allan Casey and Florence Casey.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Casey; his children, Sandra Simms (Jim), Marlene Rivers (David), Wayne Casey (Cheryl) and Karen Blackburn (late Bill); and his grandchildren, Jodi Bethune (Steve), Ryan Simms (Kelly), Patti Kot (Ben), Julie Chelson (Jordon), Christina Moss (Todd), Meghan Gedden (Jeff), Melissa Dirckx (David), Rachel Blackburn, Megan Blackburn (Eddie) and Chelsea Linder (Michael).
