Harold Gilmer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Gilmer (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Clifford Gilmer, Chester Gilmer and Ray Gilmer; and his parents, Robert Gilmer and Lulu Gilmer.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Gilmer; his daughters, Marlene Bridgman (Wayne) of Virgil and Janet Hogeboom (Graeme) of Peterborough; his grandchildren, Kevin Bridgman (Allison) of Toronto, Jeffrey Bridgman of St. Catharines, Julie Bridgman (Harron) of Toronto, Karen Jaramillo (Irving) of Niagara Falls, Allyson Verhelle of Waterloo and Jonnica Verhelle (Jeff) of Millbrook; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Eislen, Elke, Jalen, Madox and Fiona.

Due to COVID-19, services will be held at a later date.

If desired, donations may be made to the Westdale United Church (Peterborough) or Hospice Peterborough through the funeral home or online.
