He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Helen Van Beek; his son Brian Van Beek; his sibling Alfie (Gwen); his parents, John Beek and Elizabeth Van Beek; and his son-in-law Benny Hogendoorn.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Lake (Philip), Joan Hogendoorn (Gary) and David Van Beek (Christina); his grandchildren, Jason (Caitlyn), Lee-anne (Steve), Philip (Holly), Kristen (Paul), Shannon (Warren), Dawson (Maddie), Devon and Alexander; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Maddox, Haylee, Nixen, Briegan, Jake, Owen and Harrison; and his siblings, Joe (Christina), Betty (Dick), John (Joyce), Henry (Betty), Gail (late Joe) and Jane (late Jim).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cephas Church (220 Goodfellow Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J5X3).
