With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Joan Jewell in Peterborough, Ontario, born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on January 31, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Jewell; and her siblings, Gladys Price (Coulter), Sandra Jewell and Ed Crocker. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Vieveen (Wayne), Elaine Coppins (Don), Barbara Doble (Larry), Ken (Sue), Kelly Thompson (Ron) and Peter Duncan (Carol); her grandchildren, Lisa Vieveen (Joel), Lori Coates (Scott), Trevor Coppins (Carolyn), Michael Thompson (Sonya), Michelle Doble, Karen Gillespie (Mike), Gary Doble (Jill), Dan Thompson and Troy Coppins (Marcia); and her siblings, Shirley King, Don Crocker (Norma), Ron Crocker (Caralyn), Sharon Riley (Murray) and Bev. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
