It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pauline Nurse (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry; her parents, John McIlmoyle and Ella McIlmoyle; and her siblings, Margaret, Norman, Jack, Dorothy, Phyllis, Elwood, Len, Paul and Jacqueline.
She is survived by: her son Bob; her caregivers, Mary Jane, Nancy MacDonald (late Ron) and Catherine Reid; her grandson Derek; her caregivers, Sue, Janelle, James MacDonald (Alexis), Michael MacDonald, Ryan Reid (Stacey), Jeff Reid and Jonathan Reid; her great grandchild Logan Duncan; her siblings, Beverley Shearer (Gary), Betty Gail Clark (Keith) and Bob McIlmoyle (Myrna); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret McIlmoyle and Betty McIlmoyle. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Helen and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
