She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Thackeray and Muriel Thackeray; her husband Stuart Shea; Jean, Evelyn, Marj, Phyllis, Roy, Lyle, Doug and Garnet.
She is survived by: her sister Lola; her children, Sheldon (Nancy), Gary (Christine), Allan (Myra), Patricia (late Michael), Catherine (Kevin), Terry (Sylvia) and Carolyn; and her grandchildren, Katie (Paul), Mark (Jen), Michael (Stephanie), Laura (Mike), Jamie (Jeff), Kelly, Darcy (Kyle), Melissa, Marta (Ewen), Lara (Ken), Amanda (Nicola), Mathew, Sarah (Jamie), Noah (Anne), Chad (Nikki), Kaitlin (Sean), Ellie and Clayton (Carla). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
