She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Short and Jean Short; her husband Henry Skill; and her siblings, Irene Godfrey (Alf), Isabel Nelson (Arnold) and Mac Short (Margaret).

She is survived by: her children, Judy Nix, Frank Skill (Patti), Arthur Skill and George Skill; her grandchildren, Shannon Nix (Alison Whelan), Kevin Nix (Ruth), Em Newton, Tom Skill, Rebecca Greaves (Michael) and Nathaniel Skill; and her great grandchildren, Rachel Nix, Jakob Nix and Luke Greaves. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I have known Iva since I was a little girl in Keene. Good memories of spending hours in their sandbox with Judy and visiting with Iva who was always welcoming. I've never forgotten my Keene roots and in the last few years would just drop in to visit and spend time chatting and laughing. I will miss her. Condolences to the family on your loss.
