She was predeceased by: her spouse Steve Matwey; her sister Doris Campbell; and her cousin Madeline Groh. She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Janis), George, Patrick (Judy), Susan (Ron), Shawn (Tom) and Shannon (Barb); and her grandchildren, Kirstyn (Will), Katie (Jason), Karyn, Carrianne, Elizabeth (James), Michael (Jill), P. J. (Jen), Terry (Kim), Christina (Steve), Joey (Madison), April (Dave) and Chad (Amanda).
In memory of Ivy, donations to the Peterborough Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
