With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline Buchan (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on January 21, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jacqueline may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Lenore Lester, Audrey Clarke and Lois Lipsid. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Buchan; her children, Krista Baird (Mike) and Andy (late Sandra); her grandson Joshua; and her sister Mary Kates.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J 1C5).
In memory of Jackie and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
