He is survived by: his significant other Donna; his daughters, Sarah and Laura; his family, Donna Marie Cassidy, Sarah Byrne (Patrick) and Laura Cassidy; his grandson Thomas Byrne; his siblings, Carl Cassidy (Yvette) of Toronto and Maureen Wilson (Alan) of London Ontario; his nephew Jeffrey (Jody) of Toronto; and his sister-in-law Marita Cassidy of Toronto.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to either the Alzheimer's Society or the Peterborough Humane Society be made in his honour.
