James Leonard Hill Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Leonard Hill (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James Leonard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Leonard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Leonard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his significant other Reunited; his wife Arlene Carol Hill; and his parents, Leonard Hill and Hulda Hill. He is survived by: his sons, Neil and David; his sister Katherine (Terry Murphy); and his brother-in-law Allan MacDougall (Ani).
