She was predeceased by: her husband Elwood Vardy; and her brother Charles Hughes (Evonne). She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Rix (Michael) of Mississauga and Sandra LeBlanc (Robert) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Matthew, Geoffrey (Jessica), Thomas and Madeleine; her great grandchildren, Toren, Nevis, Porter and Charlie; and her siblings, Hazel Robinson (Royden), Ron Hughes (Debbie) and Barry Hughes (Paula). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
