It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Gavey (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gavey and Elsie Gavey; and his siblings, George (Lorraine), Stanley (Doris), Eunice Chipchase (Bill), Don (Shirley) and Raymond (Connie).
He is survived by: his significant other Rachel Burrows; his children, Kari-Lynn Gavey-Davis (Carm) and Aaron (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Adam (Kevin), Melissa (Steven), Haley (Dana), Joshua, Olivia and Elizabeth; his great grandchildren, Élora-Lynn and Élyana Watkins; and his brother Bud (Diane).
