She was predeceased by: her child Terry Calvert; her parents, Irvin Twomey and Katherine; and her siblings, Jim Twomey, Shirley Ferguson, Patsy Twomey, Terry Twomey, Wayne Twomey and Kirk Twomey.
She is survived by: her children, Marnie Lafrance (Marcel) and Jody Calvert; her grandchildren, Kristen, Kelsey, Jordan, Sebastien and Brody; her great grandchildren, Riley, Raiden and Violet; and her brother Larry Twomey. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Joan and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in support of Dementia or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
