He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mason and Claire Mason; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, David, Cindy and Jennifer; his son-in-law Barry Craft; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacquelyn, Mitchel, Erica, Curtis, Cady, Jadeyn and Brendan; and his great grandchildren, Margot, Stella and Audrey.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Comstock - Kaye Life Celebration Centre (356 Rubidge St, Peterborough, ON K9H4C7).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the PRHC Foundation or the Peterborough Humane Society.
