He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris; his children, David (Nancy), Douglas and Mary (Dave); his grandchildren, Benjamin (Maya), Meggie (Jim), Nicolas (Dayna), Alexa, Jacob (Kelley) and Lucas (Tori); his great grandchildren, Kian, Harper Lang, Brynn, Olive Rowlinson, Marley and Myles Lang; his parents, Matilda Lang and Norman Lang; and his siblings, Geordia, Norma, Arthur, Margaret and Harold.

In memory of John, donations to the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive or the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
