It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John MacKay in Peterborough, Ontario, born in Oshawa, Ontario, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mackay and Ivy Mackay (Lalonde); and his father-in-law Donald Ball. He is survived by: his friend Saviour; his wife Lori; his sons, Jonny (Jodi), Andrew (Rebecca) and Matt (Carol); his grandchildren, Camdyn, Caleb, Colin, Luke, Grace, Blair and Owen; his siblings, Patti (Paul) and Jim (Anne); his mother-in-law Lynda Ball; and his sisters-in-law, Deborah (Stephen), Suzanne (Tom), Kimberley and Andrea (Stephen). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
