He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert O'Keefe and Lucille O'Keefe; and his siblings, Rosemond Eakins and Francis O'Keefe. He is survived by: his spouse Charlane O'Keefe; and his children, Janine Wanjon (Adriaan), Deanna Heffernan (Dave), John O'Keefe (Shannon) and Terry O'Keefe. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (411 Reid St, Peterborough, ON K9H2M4).
In memory of John, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
