He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Heffron and Elmer Heffron; his brother Jimmy (Pat); his wife Kristin Farrier; and his children, Andrew Heffron, Jen Edwards (Dave), Theresa Campbell (Pete), Mike Ellis, Johny Ellis (Deb), Kenny Fulop (Laura), Billy Ellis, Patti Ellis and Danny Ellis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary (Jeannie), Pat (Bob), Kathleen (Diane), Tommy (Claudia), Mary and Joe (Eva); and his grandchildren, Kaia, Wyatt, James, Jack, Peter, Maggie, Brent, Alex, Collin (Becky), Tiger, Darby, Bec, Cam, Char, Maia, Violet, Satya, Poppy, Mandala and Indira. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and their extended families.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nisbett Funeral Home (600 Monaghan Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J5H9). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens (2551 Whittington Dr, Peterborough, ON K9J0G5).
