He is survived by: his close friend Joanne Robertson; his sibling's children, Erin Todd (Glenn), Kerri Clark, Jenna Clark, Linden, Aiden Todd, Emma and Ewan MacHattie; and his friend Jim McWilliams.

“I was proud to know Joe and have him as a friend. We enjoyed getting together to listen to music and Joe always had some obscure group for me to listen to. I stayed at the Clarks house in the 60's often, as I was also a friend of Pat and their dog Dan. Joe was a great guy, I never saw him get angry, and I loved his sense of humour. RIP Joe, you will be missed. Mike Primeau”
