He was predeceased by: his spouse Afton "Gwen"; his daughter Cheryl; his parents, Gordon V. Gillespie and Mary Ann "Minnie"; and his sibling Lyal (Elaine).
He is survived by: his children, Ronald, Brenda, Darlene and Linda; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Daimon and Sawyer; his siblings, Marion Dixon (Mac), Greta McIlmoyle (Elmer), Ruth Kyle (Binny), Gladys Garbutt (Don), Bill (Ester), Blanche Johnson (Doug), Richard and Mary Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Glen Barton and Wayne Nicholson (Gale). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
In memory of Joe, donations to Westview Four at Fairhaven, the Alzheimer Society or the Dialysis Unit at PRHC would be appreciated.
