He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverley; his parents, Armand Rivard and Violeta Rivard; and his siblings, Lorraine, Leon, Paul, Mary, Wellie and Normand.

He is survived by: his children, Lise Anne Lebeau (Scott), Mike Rivard (Birgit) and Lori Andrew (Tim); his grandchildren, Julie Rose (Derek), Bryan Williams (Claire), David Williams, Lindsey Taylor (Zach), Blake Andrew (Sydney) and Madelaine Rivard; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, DJ, Shyanne, Emily and Pearson; and his brother Gerard Rivard.
