She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; her parents, William Smith and Edith Smith; and her siblings, Lila, Maude, Jane, Sadie, Jean and Jack.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Cindy), Joanne (Dave) and Marilyn (Guy); her grandchildren, Andrew (Krystina), Jon (Kate), Dan (Rachel), Nick (Jessica), Spencer (Meaghan), Sebastien (Kelsey) and Simon (Megan); her great grandchildren, Austin, Garrett, Emerson, Harlow, Maddie, Jacob, Deacon, Aubrey and Brantley; and her sister Bess McIlwain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
