It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Anne Richey (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ian McClure; her son Steve Richey (Lori); and her grandchildren, Stephanie and John. She is survived by: her son Todd Richey (Larraine) of Omemee; her grandchildren, Todd, David, Kyle and Travis; her great grandchildren, Georgia, Wyatt, Parker, Lucas, Nathan, Jaxon, Tommy and Blake; and her sister Helen Wakeford.

“I am so sorry to learn of Judy's passing. My Mum, Anne Hubbard née Shenton, was at boarding school at Casterton, Cumbria, England in the 50s, & through school she became pen friends with Judy. They wrote to each other regularly all their lives & sent gifts. They didn't meet until we had a family holiday to Canada in the 70s & then in Judy's later years when she visited England with Ian. I've been unable to find Todd online but send my sincere condolences to all the family. [email protected]”
