She was predeceased by: her son Elliott; and her parents, Genevieve Rose Daniel Reynolds and George Ronald Reynolds. She is survived by: her husband Alan Elliott Armstrong; her children, Angela (Jeff Cain), Charles, William and Jillian (Sam Stewart); her grandchildren, Archibald, Odin Armstrong-Cain and Stewart; and her siblings, Sandra Orser, Daniel Reynolds (Cathy), Susan MacMillian (Les), Linda Western (Bob), Nancy Storey (Larry), Barry Reynolds, Chris Reynolds (Barb) and Mike Reynolds (Geeta). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Julie to Hospice Peterborough.
