She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Marler; her siblings, Theresa, Betty, Roseline, Anne, Shirley and Michael; and her parents, Mickey McKinnon and Kathleen McKinnon.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Kathy), Miriam and Alexis; her grandchildren, David, Maggie, Michael (Kaylee), Alicia (Andersen) and Jennifer (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Liam, Everly, Irrah, Payton, Kai and Quinn; and her siblings, Monica and Joe (Mildred).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Kay, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
