Kay Yoshiko Fukushima Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kay Yoshiko Fukushima (Peterborough, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kay Yoshiko may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

As Yoshiko's health declined into Alzheimer's, she was graciously and gently taken care of by the teams at Fairhaven LTC, to whom we will be forever grateful. There will be no service nor ceremony, but if you wish to honour Yoshiko, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada chapter nearest you.
