Lawrence Alexander MacFarlane Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Alexander MacFarlane (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sons, Jim and Ken; his parents, Alex and Theresa; his sisters, Margaret Sage (Russell), Maude Jordan (Cliff), Elizabeth Bate (Richard) and Helen Henry (Harold); his parents-in-law, Willie and Belle Jewell; and his sister-in-law Vivian Moynes (Earl).

He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Jewell); his daughter-in-law Tina (Campbell); his grandchildren, Jason (Natashia), Laura (Hannah), Dylan and Emily; his great grandchildren, Darwin, Artemis and Shirley; and his sisters-in-law, Verna Fee (late Reg) and Wilma Tamblyn (Mac). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or YWCA Peterborough Haliburton would be appreciated by the family.
