He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Doiron and Josephine Doiron (Dowling); his siblings, Elmer, Lorne, Vincent and Bernice; and his wife Bernadette.

He is survived by: his children, Jean, Andre (Sheila), Lorna McGillis (Mark) and Margot Austin (Kevin); his grandchildren, Terry, Gabriel, Claire, Aidan, Brock, Morgan, Alana and Laurel; and his great grandchildren, Roe and Lorena.
