With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Demara (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sibling Ross. She is survived by: her spouse Douglas DeMara; her children, Ken (Janice), Karen Sage (Doug), Shirley Strutzenberger (Wolfgang), Steve (Halina), Bruce and Lanace (John); her grandchildren, Nygel (Jennifer), Kyle, Tyler, Troy (Kerri), Bryan (Emilka), Krysta (Pete), Harley, Keli (Dean), Alicia and Kevin; her great grandchildren, Grace, Lily, Mackenzie, Logan, Ryker, Priscilla, Ace, Rory, Davin, Alex and Andrew; and her siblings, Dan English (Sandra), Laurel McIntyre, Carl and Audrey English.
In memory of Leona, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
