She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Don Matthews; her children, Erin Brown (Andrew) and Angela Petherick; her foster child Tracy Sawyer (Jim); her grandchildren, Wyatt Oolo, Grace Brown, Carter Brown, Brandon Sawyer, Cayden Sawyer and T. J. Sawyer; and her siblings, Ross, Leo, Ron, Ken and Bonnie Carter. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Leona, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
