She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ball; her parents, Glen and Mary Jane Nichols (Tanner); her siblings, Ruth Rexe (John), Jean Hancock (Frank), Mary Lou Howitt (Jim), Elizabeth Lillico (Trevor), Philip Nichols (Pat) and David Nichols; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley, Grant Faulds and Nancy Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Peel (Stephen), Lori Mackay (late John), Suzanne McDonald (Tom), Kim Ball and Andrea Ball (Stephen Barrett); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew (Rebecca), Matthew Mackay (Carol), Rebecca, Jacquie McDonald, Jacob Olesiuk (Nicole), Miranda Laflamme (Daniel), Michael and Graeme Barrett; her great grandchildren, Camdyn, Caleb, Colin Mackay, Luke, Grace Mackay, Owen, Mara (Mackay), Blair McPherson and Abigail Olesiuk; her grandchildren, Banana, Aubrey, Greyson and Marcus; her siblings-in-law, Ken Hawthorne, Marilyn Nichols and Nancy Nichols; and her grandchildren, Josie, Rowan, Brenda, Angie, Sharon, Chloe, Christina and Rogers Street. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
