He is survived by: his wife Sheridan; his brothers, Ian (Gail) and Donald (Michel); his children, Michelle (Vince), Collin (Lori) and David (Linda); and his grandchildren, Martine (Ben), Olivia, Katerina, Sara, Megan, Kyle, Amanda, Lucy (Logan), Sally and Ruby.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Centre (2510 Bensfort Rd, Peterborough, ON K9J1C5). A reception was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, in remembrance of Malcolm's life and love, the family asks that charitable donations be made to ALS Canada.
