Marcellienne Maria Rowe Obituary

She was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with family. She cherished visits and family gatherings and was always present—cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, celebrating milestones, and showing up for special occasions. Her love was shown through presence, reliability, and care.

Marcellienne shared a special friendship with Vivian, and the two loved touring the town together—stopping at stores in search of good deals, enjoying coffee at Tim's, or trying out a new lunch spot. These simple routines brought her great happiness.

She loved Wayne deeply. While their love language often appeared as banter, their bond was strong and enduring. Married in 1962, they built a life together, raised two incredible children, and doted on their four grandchildren, two stepchildren, and the many friends of their children and grandchildren who were always welcomed with open arms.

Mom was known as the family taxi driver, always ready to pick up or deliver anyone at a moment's notice. She loved to travel, especially to the beach, with Punta Cana holding a special place in her heart. She also enjoyed playing cards and games on her iPad, keeping her mind sharp and her competitive spirit alive.

Marcellienne worked at Quaker for 39 years and was deeply involved in the soccer community. She was instrumental in promoting youth and young women in soccer and spent more than 40 years serving as an administrator on various soccer executives. Her dedication and leadership left a lasting impact on countless players and families.

She lived life fully, stayed active, and remained deeply connected to the people and community she loved. Marcellienne will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of strength, devotion, and love will live on in all who knew her.
