She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McGarrity. She is survived by: her children, Karan Leal (Jeff), Mike McGarrity (Jennifer) and John McGarrity (Janice); and her grandchildren, Braden Leal, Shanae Leal and Joel McGarrity.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome a charitable donation to the Peterborough Regional Health Care Foundation or, given Margaret's profound love of animals, the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society, in Margaret's memory.
