She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Murphy; her parents, Thomas Heffernan and Mary Ellen McKeiver (Ella); and her siblings, Mary Adele Johnston (late Bernard), Donald Heffernan and Christopher Heffernan (Wink).
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Young; her brothers, Kevin Heffernan (late Barbara) and Michael Heffernan (Elaine); and her sister-in-law Ruth Heffernan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In memory of Middy, donations to St. Alphonsus Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
