It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Rose Strickland (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Nisbett and Helen (McGuire); and her siblings, Norman "Junior" (Reni), John, Doug (Shirley), Edith Goleski, Karl, Paul and David.
She is survived by: her husband Don Hamilton; her children, Terrie (Leo Varlese), David, Michael (Julia), Corry Hamilton and Stacy Hamilton (Wendy Davies); her grandchildren, Alessandro, Giuliano Varlese, Mitchell, Hailey, Nicholas Strickland, Collin, Heather, Rachel Strickland and Zach Hamilton; her friend Laurie Serio; her siblings, Marie White, Katherine Smith, Tom Nisbett (Trudy), Susan King and Mike Nisbett (Mary-Lou); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Nisbett, Eddie Goleski, Caroline McManus and Carole Strickland. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Rosie and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated by the family.
