She was predeceased by: her husband Allan; her son Gary; and her parents, Syd Mitchell and Mary Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, Rick (Diana), Jeff Chris (Melissa) and Kevin; her grandchildren, Katie, Joshua, Zachary, Julia, Vivian, Joceyln and Faith; and her sister Betty Dowdall (Jim).

Due to COVID restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

“We remember Marie the most as a parent at the EOMH games with her boys. She was always smiling and chatty. It was often noted that the Mothers would be sitting knitting and talking together during practices. She often spoke of baseball games that involved my Dad as he grew up in Mount Pleasant. Lately Bryan had the pleasure cutting Marie's lawn and talking about past times. Rest In Peace, Marie Gary & Donna Brooks”
