It is with sadness that the passing of Marie Schofield (Peterborough, Ontario) is shared. Marie, born on January 20, 1944, passed away on July 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Marie will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Marie by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Marie is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Marie’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Schofield. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Schofield (Melissa) and Peter Schofield; and her grandsons, Alex and Sebastian. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens (2551 Whittington Dr, Peterborough, ON K9J0G5). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
