She was predeceased by: her spouse Frank King; and her child Laura Hilliard. She is survived by: her children, Gary Hilliard (Joanne), Gord Hilliard (Laurie) and Colin Hilliard (Karen); her siblings, Yvonne McCaffrey, Heather Tough and Warren Tough; and her sibling-in-law Ruth Strutz (Joe).
