He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack (Gertrude), Helen (Vic Kokko), Vic (Jean), Frank (Pat) and Jim (Theresa).

He is survived by: his wife Joan Benfield; his children, Jeannie, Jim (Lori) and John (Trudy); his great grandchildren, Kelsey (Ian), Thomas, Mark, Mike (Amanda), Tori, David (Sarah), Ben, Emily, Aidan, Cole, Zoe, Jude, Payton, Danica and Nova; and his brother Bob (Fran). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
