He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ecklund and Marie Ecklund. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ecklund; his children, Angela Myrna Lovett (Stephen) of Oshawa and Steven Edward Ecklund (Alison) of Red Deer, Alberta.; his stepson Robert Marshall Brown of Thornhill, Ontario.; his granddaughter Kennedy Underwood; and his siblings, Douglas Ecklund (Marie), Lucinda Montgomery (Kerry) and William Ecklund (Kathleen).
