She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Tokiwa; and her brother Satoshi Maruya. She is survived by: her children, Marlene (Michael), Doug (Mellody), Kent (Susan) and Candace (George); her grandchildren, Blair, Daimen, Micah and Jett; her siblings, Chizuko Uyede and Keiji Maruya; and her pet Qrii. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
