She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Stroud (Tom); her children, Carolyn (Blaine), Dee and Eric (Tanya); her stepchildren, Jeff, Peter (Jessie), Rebecca (Lance) and Nathaniel; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Colin, Piper, Shaela, Maya, Oliver, Charlotte and Rosalie; and her sisters, Sheila (Frank) and Heather (Ken). She was also cherished by nephews, and special cousins.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church (99 Brock St, Peterborough, ON K9H2P2).
In memory of Miriam and in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. John's Anglican Church Parish, Breakthrough T1D (JDRF), or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
