She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Thompson; and her sisters, Josephine Van Volkenburg, Theresa McGrath, Antoinette Shewman (Baltes) and Frances Carveth (Richard).

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Fraser, Ron (Pat), Brenda Collins (late Carl), Roger (Janet), Randy (Ria), Deb Riel (Rick), Sherry Migliaccio (Joe), Rob (Cindy), Chris (Linda) and Karen Thompson; her brother Joe McGrath (Thelma); and her siblings-in-law, Doug (Roberta) and Dora Veal (Ivan). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
