Opal Irene (Robinson) Murphy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Irene (Robinson) Murphy (Peterborough, Ontario), who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robinson and Harriet Robinson; her husband Walter Murphy (William); her daughter Irene Lawson (late Steve); her siblings, Ina Dyer (late Canon Walter Dyer), Don Robinson (late Isabel), Howard Robinson (late Beulah), June Kerr (late Bill) and Ken Robinson; and her parents-in-law, Ellen, Gordon Bradfield, Andy, Elda Murphy, Sam, Nancy Murphy, James and Dorothy Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Murphy (Jean) and Anne; her grandchildren, Greg Lawson (Karen), Amber Anderson (Travis), Brendan Murphy (Erin), Seanna (Robin Shimaoka), Tyler Coulby, Shane Coulby (Caitlin) and Jordan Coulby (LIndsay); and her great grandchildren, Logan Anderson, Nate Lawson, Iris, Ronan Murphy, Remi, Declan Shimaoka, Madden and Jace Coulby.

In lieu of flowers donations to Sick Kids Hospital or St. James United Church would be appreciated.
