She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Maniex (Frank) and Margaret Hutchison; and her brother Frank "Sonny" Maniex. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Simpson; her siblings, Margaret Breen (Wray) of Toronto, ON and Bob Botham (Linda) of Brampton, ON; and her sister-in-law Pat Maniex of Moncton, NB. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Duffus Funeral Home (431 George St S, Peterborough, ON K9J3E2).
